I took the boys to see Dan at the course last Thursday night, he had been working on the excavator all day, cleaning up stumps from all the trees he cut down. I can not believe all the trees that have come down,(over 300!) but that is a whole different post sometime. The boys were SO excited to
see the excavator, then they got to ride in it with daddy! They are still telling me about it.

While we were there, the tree service was loading up the trees they had cut down that day. Just one of the
MANY loads for them.

Saturday night we took the boys to the outdoor mall, and had so much fun. After dinner and playing at the playground we let them run in the fountains. This was the first time this year and let me tell you, my boys are growing up fast! Last year we had to hold Lee to let him play, now he is running and jumping over them laughing the whole time.

Jason used to be afraid to put his foot on them, now it is the first thing he does.

Ryan, still a little timid, but not afraid!

My parents came over Sunday and stayed until Tuesday. We ended up taking the boys to the Henry Ford Museum on Monday. What a GREAT place! Dan and I have wanted to get there since we moved here, but, well, you know how that goes. I kind of felt bad going with out Dan, he loves history. But, we had a great day there and would recommend it to everyone!(you have a free place to stay only a half hour away:0) I was
very impressed with the whole thing. The picture above is the boys checking out the
weinermobile, they thought it was so funny!

the combine, a favorite of my boys

the giant pool table in the play area, each ball had a different noise coming out of the numbers, very cool.

All over the museum were these rubbing stations for kids. Jason thought it was great having to find the next place to make a rubbing. We kept them all and made a book, Jason just showed me the book again, telling me all about each picture. What a great memory!

Grandpa and Grandma making airplanes...

and flying them, I think Grandpa is cheating a little=)!

I just had to share this picture, it gives me the willies.
On April 14, 1865, President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated,
in this chair, I still can't comprehend that one. It's crazy, you can still see the stains, let's just say it's worth seeing for your own eyes.
