Happy Retirement Mom and Dad!!!

My Dad retired earlier this year, and he was gracious enough to pick the boys and I up last Monday so I could be around to celebrate my Mom's retirement. Congratulations Mom and Dad on your retirement, I pray God blesses you both with health and strength, and hope you enjoy every day of your "new life" together!!!

23 years at Genzink Steel, bittersweet...

It was a great week to be back 'home' for a week. I have to say, I loved having my Dad and Mom around every morning, I am so used to doing things on my own, it was a wonderful little break for me. The boys LOVED every minute of it, soaking up all of Grandpa and Grandma's love.

I even got to spend time with my sister Lynae, and took the 4 older kids to the beach for an afternoon.

My Dad is the most patient guy I know, always willing to play any game with Jason, jumping on the tramp with Ryan, and the numerous trips to the barn to find Lee sitting on the tractor, he was constantly on the go. Thanks so much for your love Dad, you are amazing.

On Friday Dan came into town and we stayed at his parents house for the weekend. They just put an addition on to the back of the house making it a brand new home. It's just beautiful.
We all helped lay mulch on Saturday, and Dan even got in some golf with his Dad and brother-in-law Kevin.

My parents were invited to Sunday dinner, what a blessing for Jason, Ryan, and Lee to have both Grandparents so close. Thanks for all your love!!
