Let the Traditions Begin!

Since we are leaving for the other side of the state tomorrow, we had our family Christmas yesterday. It was a day full of fun.

The day started with our tradition of green and red pancakes for breakfast, yummy!

After breakfast and clean up, the presents started...
Jason and his blue guitar, just what he wanted!

Ryan + puzzles = happy

The 'big' gift for them, a ball tent, what fun!

Stockings, filled with lots of goodies...

At night we went for a walk around our neighborhood to see all the lights

There's something magical about Christmas morning, the excitement, the overwhelming feeling of God's love coming down to earth for us all. Everyone has their own family traditions for Christmas, traditions that have stayed the same over the years, and with the years, some that have changed. Moving away from family, passing of loved ones, a birth, there are so many reasons that our traditions change. Yet year after year, one thing remains the same,

".. God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16
