For you...

Today was one of those days when I took a step back and just watched. Jason and Ryan were busy playing, Lee walking(running) all over, and I just sat. My thoughts took over and emotions came like a flood. This post is for you, my boys...
Jason, my big boy. When did you grow into a little man? You have such a love for everything and everyone. I think your heart is bigger than you can handle sometimes. Always ready to give a hug, or a smile to make someone feel better. You come up with the best things to say like, "it's ok mommy, daddy be home soon." You love having mommy and daddy watch your 'shows'. They are the best, you dance, you sing, and tell stories, every sentence starting with, "and one upon a time." You love your brothers, and don't really know what to do if they are taking a nap. You kind of mope around until you hear someone and run into their room with a big, "Hi buddy!" You love being outdoors, I think you could stay there all day, if I stayed out with you. You don't like to be left alone, afraid you will miss something, you follow me everywhere. I love every moment with you, especially when you crawl into my bed in the morning and have to cuddle with me before we get up. And to watch the total excitement in you when your daddy comes home from work is priceless. You are always ready to lend a hand, weather it's helping Ryan wash up, getting things for Lee, helping daddy with 'work', or at my side, you are always ready to help. And you always give words of encouragement like, "good job daddy", or "that's a big boy Ryan". You make me smile...

Ryan, oh Ryan. You are such a little ham. You have such a love for life, and everything that comes with it. You could have just fallen and scraped your knee, all I have to do to make you stop crying is smile at you, and your face lights up in return. I say all the time that you are going to be the end of me with all your dare devil moves. You jump off the couch, the stairs, the slide, I really think you could run into a wall and keep going(if I smiled at you=)! You may not have a fear in you, but you are so caring and compassionate. You love cuddle time, and you crack me up when you can't drink your milk until you have your blankie in hand. You say the cutest things right now, some of my favorite being: "duncome"(it's your word for thank you and your welcome all in one) and "huh mommy?"(after everything I say) and "my daddy, my daddy, my daddy!!!"(when your daddy comes home from work) and "hold you mommy"(whenever you need a hug). You love your brothers. You follow Jason everywhere, even in time-out, you two are inseparable. You didn't know what to do with Lee when he was born(you were only 11 months) but now that Lee can walk, you love chasing after him, and give him the biggest hugs when he wakes up from nap. You make me laugh...

And Lee. You are almost 1 year old, wow did that year go fast. Your personality is growing by the minute, and I love what I'm seeing. You light up every time your brothers come into the room, and laugh with excitement. You are so strong, and can hold your own against your brothers. Just the other day Ryan tried taking a book from you and you held on so tight that Ryan couldn't get it. Ryan was yelling and what were you doing? -laughing the whole time! You give the best hugs by far, they are so tight and always end with a kiss, you make my day. You love watching your brothers put on shows, and clap for them when they are done. You have started to dance to any music playing, weather it is on TV or the radio, you stop what you're doing and start bobbing up and down(always ending with a clap). You are walking so good now, I love watching you chase your brothers, all of you laughing and falling down, then getting right back up to do it again. You are so full of energy and smiles. You warm my heart...

Boys, you are the best gift ever. Every day is an adventure with you. Your daddy and I love you so much, and thank God for every moment with you. My prayer is that God guides you and protects you, that you believe in yourself and trust God with every step you take. And know that what ever happens in your life journey, we are a family, and will always be together.
