The weekend

My parents came out for a visit this past weekend. Even with the 2 and 1/2 inches of rain we received on Saturday, it was a great weekend. Dan and I were able to get a couple of things done together in the morning, leaving the kids to spend time with Grandpa and Grandma, and after the rain had stopped, we all took off for an afternoon in downtown Detroit. Detroit has a bad reputation, but, some beautiful old buildings, tons of history, and Comerica Park. We walked around, and ended up at Hockeytown for supper(very good by the way). After we left downtown, Dan took us all for a ride around his course, and we even stopped for ice cream! It was a beautiful evening.
