We made it! I can not believe we are living in Ohio, it still boggles my mind! But here we are, starting our "new life" in Findlay. And it has been a great start, considering all the unbelievable changes.
This is our 7th move since being married, with that being said, this was the smoothest move we have had. Dan got 4 guys from Country Club of Detroit to help out Friday morning...it was unreal! Guys and boxes were flying by me so fast, it took them all of 40 minutes to load the entire trailer...CRAZY! I was more than grateful for the help! What also helped was the boys stayed with Grandpa and Grandma Becksvoort for a week, so I could focus on packing and unpacking, and I can truly say I would still be living out of boxes if it wasn't for my parents being more than willing to help. Again, I am so grateful!
Trailer packed and ready for Ohio! We got the largest trailer, and shockingly, it all fit!
We made it without any problems, but then the real work began! Dan unloaded the trailer - box by box, while I unpacked - box by box, only stopping to help him carry in the large stuff. (I found I am stronger than I give myself credit for!) And by 5:30pm Dan carried the last box off the truck. It was such a good feeling, but we still had to walk through the maze of boxes filling every room(such an overwhelming feeling). Dan had most of the week off, so we worked hard for 4 days straight,(unpacking, cleaning, organizing, building beds and shelves) by the time my parents brought the boys here on Tuesday, it felt like home(especially with my boys laughter filling the air again-man I missed them, but I am so happy to have had time to unpack)
Their new spot to eat Breakfast and snacks, they love the counter bar(so do I)
It was such a beautiful week, we even found a park to play at, so fun!
I hung a hoop in the basement for the boys and put Lee's old crib mattress down there to jump on, it makes a perfect place for boys to be boys!
Dan reading a book in the boys new room. We got a twin over full bunk bed for Jason and Ryan, and a new twin bed for Lee. They LOVE it! All my worries about having them all in the same room have vanished, it's perfect for them. I have started teaching Jason this week, our new routine will take some getting used to, but the boys seem content here, more comfortable then the Shores. And that makes everyone happy!By the way, Dan is extremely happy with his new job. He was born to be a leader, now he finally has his chance to. We give God all the praise and thanks for our "new life" in Ohio. God is good!
I am so happy I got this on video! Lee is my little 'rocker'. He loves to play his air guitar and get his rock n' roll face on(you'll see what I mean) But every time I get my camera out, the boys seem to get very shy or stop what they are doing! But I got him! I was doing dishes, and as always, I was listening to my iphone. Lee came in and turned it up(yes he knows how to use an iphone) and started Rockin! I grabbed my camera, (thankfully in reach on the counter) and started taping. Knowing that he would probably stop when he saw me, I stayed right where I was. But to my surprise, when he turned around, he kept going, making an even cuter video! (yes, it's Lady GaGa, and no, I don't usually listen to her, but I do have some of her songs on my playlist=)!
After that, I decided to play his favorite rock n' roll song to see if he would let me tape him again, and well, he did! We have so much fun with our boys, my heart overflows with love for my little men!

Keep Rocking Lee! That is the best. Love uncle Tom
Love seeing God's plan unfold! Praying for you. We listen to Lady Gaga too, the twins sing it, oh well! We also have 3 kids in 1 room, bunkbeds and a twin. They now don't want to be apart :) Prayers to you during this adjustment time.
