Monster Jam!

Long before we knew we were moving, Dan and I bought tickets to the Monster Jam show at Ford Field for Christmas, as our "big gift" for the boys. We have have been talking about it for so long and counting down the days, it was great to be able to tell the boys it was time! So we headed downtown Saturday night for the show!

It was my first time inside the Ford Field, I thought it was pretty big, but it was even bigger in the eyes of my boys. They couldn't believe all the people and seats. Jason told me that he was going to play football in there some day and he would save me a seat in the front. I thought that was very sweet of him to think of his Mommy=)!
We had great seats up top/center, we could see everything!

They start with the race, 2 trucks at a time, 2 times around, until one beats them all

At half time, the boys danced to the "rock n' roll" music

Lee was content with his bag of cotton candy, eyes glued on the trucks.

After half time, it was freestyle, our favorite part.

There were three flip overs, this one being a lady driver, and she was doing so good!!!

I can't imagine how hard it is to actually drive one of those things, it's got to be a work out!

My camera died on me halfway through the freestyle, so I didn't get a picture of 'Grave Digger'(winner of the night) he was the boys favorite, mostly because they played the beginning of, We Will, We Will, Rock You, every time he came out, they know how to entertain! It was a very fun night!

Now that all our "trips" are done, I can completely focus on packing, cleaning, painting, and all the other overwhelming things that come with moving. I will post another update soon about our move, it's happening in 10 days!
