Great Wolf Lodge

Last Thursday after school was out, we headed to Traverse City for our Christmas present from Grandpa and Grandma Koops. It was a welcome retreat in our busy, changing life right now. We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge(a very nice hotel by the way!) Our boys had so much fun with their cousins and sleeping in the bunk beds in our room.
The Koops cousins after dinner(they all got wolf ears with their kid meal)

I think we may have to get a hot tub some day, it's our boys favorite spot

Mommy and Lee time when Daddy has the other two on the big slides!

On the big snake

We have early risers, so on Saturday morning, we got to turn the water on with Wiley the Wolf!

At the Arcade with cousins

If you have never been there before, they have a scavenger hunt sort of game for kids(and adults) called the Magi Quest. You buy a "magic" wand and go on quests to earn powers. Then you take the powers you earned and go on adventures. It seriously could take you a week to accomplish everything they have. It took us all afternoon and into the evening to get all the quests done, and with the help from Grandpa we were able to get through 3 adventures at night! We were all exhausted from walking down the 5 hallways and flights of stairs over and over and over and over....
Jason was all into it, Ryan and Lee started to get sick of it around the 5th quest, so I had to take them back to the room for a break every now and then.

I had to try to get the goblin, but he got me first, I was never good at video games!

The boys ready for story time, they even made it snow inside!

Meeting Violet and Wiley after story time, Ryan wanted nothing to do with them, Lee was more interested in their shoes than anything else.

Grandpa and Grandma's room was our hang out room, there even was a little gambling going on with the games!

I had to get a video of Lee, he started to jump in the water for the first time at the hotel. His brothers plug their noses when they jump, so he figured he should too, but lets go before he hits the water, he cracks me up!

Thank you again Mom and Dad Koops for a wonderful weekend!!!
