Dan and I even got in a date night on Friday, we ended up in South Haven and ate at Clemintine's, and then walked to the beach for the sunset, my favorite kind of date!
Saturday morning we went to one of my favorite spots, the Saugatuck Dunes State Park. I love it there, the walk (or hike:o) in the woods to get to the beach, the best of both worlds. The boys had so much fun wandering in the woods, then the beach was a whole new playground! Lee having no sense of fear went in the freezing cold water and loved it.
Saturday afternoon Dan had plans to take Jason golfing with his Dad, but because of the rain, we went to Crazy Bounce in Holland with Dan's parents instead. Jason and Ryan had so much fun, I have never seen them sweat so much, and we got our own work out just trying to keep up with them!
Easter Sunday, another beautiful day. After church we had a big dinner, egg hunt, and we also did an egg drop this year with the kids, so much fun.
It was great to see all the different ideas to try and keep your egg from cracking. We had everything from water and bubble wrap to panty hose and toilet paper.We started with a toss from a short ladder....
That wasn't enough, so the tall ladder came out...
Still, not enough, so...
Crazy, I know, but so much fun!(even after all that, we only had 1 cracked egg! we must be one smart family;0)
