Splash Village Weekend

After our week of recovering, Dan and I decided to get away with the kids for the weekend. Because we decided this after Dan got home from work on Friday, we did not want to drive far and ended up in Frankenmuth. We stayed at Zehnders Hotel and Water park. What a great place! We had a fun time there. They have a water park inside the hotel which the boys loved. I had some reservations about bringing our 3 boys to a water park, but they did great. Lee just sat in the water, splashing away, Ryan clung to us at first, then eventually (after our 3rd time there) he loved it, especially the hot tub! Jason was the one who surprised both of us, he did everything with Dan, even the tube rides over and over. The only thing they didn't like was the big bucket of water that tipped over every 20 min. as soon as they heard the bell, they stood out of the way and laughed at all the people getting wet, including Dan.
Ryan loved playing games at the arcade, or should I say he loved seeing the tickets come out after playing the games, he just screamed with excitement when he saw them pop out.
I would recommend this hotel to any family, it was a great, much needed little getaway.

Walking around the town, ate a huge cinnamon roll, tasted the yummy taffy, Jason got a lady bug painted on his arm, and Lee took a nap!
