Time flies!

Jason...has such a passion for sports.  He has finished soccer and football, and is now on a baseball team(by far his favorite so far)  He is involved in a baseball camp this week, and next week has a basketball camp! I know it's crazy, but he LOVES it.  I just hope he picks a couple sports that he really loves and sticks with them...but right now, he just wants to try it all.  He asked me this morning on the way to baseball if he could take golf lessons at daddy's work, well thankfully he's not old enough for that yet.....maybe next summer.

Ryan ready for football.  He loves being involved, and tries his hardest at everything, but I don't think football is the right fit for him(at least right now) I can't wait to see him next year when he is old enough for other sports, and see what he will find a love for.  Until then, he is pretty content to just watch. We were going to let him play tee ball, but he said no. I think being involved in one thing is enough for him.  What a difference in brothers!
Jason and Ryan in the huddle, they had fun.
The "49ers"

It has been a very dry spring for Findlay.  We have already started our weekly family drive on the course(normally doesn't start until mid summer) but almost every Sunday night we take a drive around the course, not only to spend time as a family, but to check on the greens, and do "a little" work if needed.  The golf course becomes our life during the summer, it's one of the things I actually look forward to, Dan spends so much time there, to be able to spend time with him is what I love(and the boys love it too)
Dan teaching them how to use a stimpmeter(a tool used to measure the speed of the green)
Jason and Ryan love to learn...Lee, not so much yet!

Something new for me this summer...a POOL!  The Club has a nice pool we can use on all those hot humid days
Lee has grown up so much this Spring, getting those long legs like his brothers. It's hard to believe he will be 4 in September.  He tries everything his brothers do, and amazingly does pretty good!  He says all the time, "when I turn 6 like Jason, I'm going to do that too".  He is too cute.

We went to the pool over Memorial Day weekend, boys had so much fun. Now maybe I can get them those swim lessons!
We were going to take the boys camping(tenting) last weekend, but things happened at the course that didn't allow us to leave(love it when Dan has to babysit geens) Oh well, I have actually gotten used to not having a family vacation during the summer, it's all part of the job!  But we do take all the moments that we are given and make the most of them.  We went fishing the other night since we said we would when we were camping, and man those fish were biting!

1 of Lee's 5 fish he caught!

Jason and his new rod, big boy now!

Ryan and his fish he wouldn't go near...

It cracked me up...my boys didn't dare touch the little fish they caught, but when it came to the huge slimy worms.....
