Growing up with 2 sisters, we never had a LEGO in our house. And I never really understood how boys could just sit and build with those little blocks.
Fast forward many years and I am more than thankful to who ever created LEGOS. My boys love them! And I love seeing all their creations as well as seeing them follow instructions step by step. I have been proven wrong, LEGOS are a real learning/small motor/fun/imaginative toy. So I have always been on the look out for a good LEGO table, but have never seen anything that would be big enough for 3 boys(yet inexpensive). So I created my own.... 
It was a $60 Ikea dinning table. We cut the legs, cut holes in top for buckets, and glued down LEGO boards....
The boys think it's great. And so do I, easy clean up, and a ton better than all over the floor!(I am going to keep the extra LEGOS in the closet and switch out the blocks from time to time)
Boys already have their "forts" made with horse stalls and gas pumps, so creative!
