CAMPING!

Dan and I finally had the chance to take the boys camping for their first time. We both have a love for camping and hope to instill that passion in our boys. Now, I would prefer to camp in a trailer, but until then..ya do what ya got ta do!

After Jason's last day of school, we went to Muskegon State Park for two nights. We spent a lot of our time on the beach, making sandcastles, monster truck tracks, exploring the dunes, and running down them.
We went for a long hike in the woods, saw baby deer, went fishing, got full of mud and sand, had s'mores and lots of campfires. The boys found plenty to do with acorns, sticks, dirt, and water...trying to get them all clean at the end of the day was not an easy task, but with team work it was accomplished!
The boys loved it, as we knew they would, even in the cold temps and rain, we had a wonderful time together.
