Jason's Preschool Program

Jason had his Christmas Program on Sunday. We were so proud of him...not so much for what he did, but for what he didn't do...let me explain. Jason is shy, not only shy, but very timid with a very big heart that sometimes over flows with emotion. He was so excited all day for his program, we went over his words and songs, he was doing great. So I dropped him off in his room, and told him to have fun, he was all smiles. We went to find a seat in the packed church, and all the 4 year olds came in, so cute. They stand up, and right away I sense something wrong. Sure enough, I look at Jason, he's standing in the middle of the back row, with his lips quivering. He was holding in his tears and emotions as best as he could. My heart sank, I turned to Dan, as if he could do something, and then said a prayer for God to calm his heart. I think He heard me. Jason settled down, not ever opening his mouth, but he made it through the whole program, with just a wipe here and there. He did great in my eyes, I was(am) a very proud Mom. Just another experience to check off the list, and hopefully, with God's help, we will make it through many more!

Even though Jason didn't sing, this was his favorite song. Good job buddy, love you!
