When we first moved here, we made a list of things we want to "fix up" on the house before it's time to sell, knowing we wont be able to do everything, we had to prioritize. Last winter we painted, this winter we decided to work in the kitchen. Having to use up some vacation time before the New Year, Dan took the whole week off after Christmas, and the big project started. Tearing up the old counter and putting in new, it looks so much better. We also changed the knobs and handles, and got a new sink and faucet. We would like to put in a tile back splash yet this winter to finish it up. But here are some before and after pictures....

Hey, a girl can dream!!!!
The boys got instruments for Christmas this year and we have been having so much fun with them. Jason loves his blue guitar, Ryan on the drums, and Lee pounding away at the piano. We had been singing songs all morning, Jason tuning his guitar after every song, it's just way to cute I had to share.
