For Ashley...

Hey,
I just wanted to give you some craft ideas for this week. Hope you have fun!

Ice pops for the birds: Find a cupcake pan, fill the cups half full with bird seed, then pour water over each to fill the hole. Then find some type of string or pipe cleaner to put in each cup(with the hook or loop hanging out) Then stick outside for a day or overnight to freeze. When they are frozen, take them out and hang them in a tree outside or on your deck, you have an icy treat for the birds!

Ice painting: water down some poster paint and put in paper cups or an old ice cube tray. Place a Popsicle stick in each one and freeze. When frozen, paint a picture with your ice. As the ice paint melts it creates a different look than just regular paint.

Make your own stationary: I have fun with this one, and you will too. Find some juice glasses and fill them 3/4 full of water, then add some dish washing liquid to each glass. Then depending on how many colors you want, put food coloring in each glass, mixing the colors to make new ones if you want. So you should end up with a different color in each glass. Next find a straw, and some white printer paper. Then let your creativity begin! Pick a color and blow bubbles, just enough so that bubbles start coming out of the glass. Place your paper over the glass and pop the bubbles with it, as the bubbles dry, they leave a print on the paper. Try overlapping the colors, or blowing bubbles with the paper on the glass so they instantly pop on the paper, experiment and have fun! When the paper is dry, you have your very own custom made stationary!
