Our 4th of July Weekend

What another great weekend with family! We had Dan's parents visit Friday to Saturday, it was good to see them again. I have never lived in the city for the Fourth of July, and never did I expect to see so many fireworks! They were everywhere, people just shoot them off in their back yard(remember they are not big back yards!) or out on the street. We had to cover our heads when our neighbor let some off, the firework leftovers would fall on our driveway or we would hear them hit the roof. It was crazy, Dan is all excited about having our own firework display next year, but he still has to convince me! It was a great Holiday weekend. Ryan got his first taste of ice cream(which he loved), Jason got to run through water at the splash zone park(which Ryan also loved), we saw a huge ship go through at Marine City, and we just relaxed as a family(which means play golf in the back yard).
