Fun times

Jason has been cracking me up lately. He is growing up so fast, and figuring out things for himself, even getting stuck on top of the swing set can't stop him....I was in the house cleaning, when I heard Ryan yelling from the door, "Mommy come here a minute, Jason's stuck!" And when I got to the door, I saw Jason, looking very innocent, stuck on top of the swing set. I of course started laughing and asked him what he was doing and he replied, "I just wanted to get a good view mom". View of what? I asked. "Of our pretty roof mom" Oh, I said, it's a pretty roof huh? and Jason said, "yeah there's bird poop up there".

Another thing I just have to share(so I remember) is that when ever we are in the van, Jason talks....a lot. It's not just that he talks, he starts everything with, "Hey mom?" and I have to say "yes Jason" or he will continue to say, hey mom, until I answer him. At first it was cute, now....not so much.
So yesterday I was driving them to the park and Jason started talking, and I, wanting a few minutes to myself, said to him, "honey, I am driving, I have to focus right now, I can't talk".

Jason replied with, "o.k. I wont say anything anymore...............but mommy?"

"Yes Jason," I said(half annoyed, half laughing)

"What's that?" (referring to the double wide motorcycle we were passing)

"A big motorcycle" I said.

"Oh..................Hey mommy?"

"Yes Jason"(now laughing)

"Is it called a van motorcycle?"

And the conversation continued for the rest of the drive. Oh Jason, you light up my life. I love being a mom. I wish I could have a tape recorder with me all the time, and remember everything my kids say, they really do say the darnedest things!
