Life Lately...

I can not believe it's the middle of November already. I love this time of year and it always seems to fly by. I have been busy with the boys of course, keeping them happy and healthy(listening to Christmas music along the way!) I feel on top of things for the first time in over 3 years, I know exactly what I need to get for Christmas, and been watching the sales :o) !

Dan is busy at work(always) but after this month he doesn't have to work weekends for 3 months! Yeah!!! He is taking some time off next week to go hunting, and has time off for the Holidays, so things will slow down for him. He has one more coat of varnish to go on Jason's bed, then it will be done! His plans are to cut down a tree(from my parents woods) when we are 'home' for Thanksgiving, and then the whole process can start again for Ryan!

Jason is such a big boy. I can't get over how much he is changing, asking so many questions, getting such an imaginative mind. He goes to school 2 mornings a week, and loves it. He's been practicing songs for a Thanksgiving concert they are giving next week, I can't wait to see him up there singing, I think I might cry!

Ryan is becoming a big brother before my eyes. He and Jason are so close, but as Lee is growing up and able to do more and more, I see Ryan growing into his Big Brother role. Showing Lee toys and how to play with them, sharing his blankie with him, and running into his room when he wakes up saying, "Hi buddy".(Just as Jason did when Ryan was born) I love what I am seeing and feel blessed to have 3 boys so close in age.

Lee is growing and changing by the day. He is starting to 'talk' and tries to repeat what you say. He loves his big brothers, and can keep up with them now(for the most part). He is such a good eater, inhaling his food, it makes me laugh. He loves dancing and trying to jump, and claps for himself whenever he tries.

They say once you have kids time flies even faster, I would have to agree. This Holiday Season I'm going to try my hardest to slow it down. I want to enjoy the beauty of it, the smells of it, the sounds of it, and of course the tastes of it! I want my boys to experience the pure joy it brings. My prayer for each of you is the same, may God bless you during this Holiday Season, give you joy, and.....slow it down.

Video of Lee eating supper last night, I told you he inhales it!

Just another day, why is that drawer so much fun?!
