Another great weekend...
My how fast the weeks go, and weekends even faster. We had a great visit with Dan's parents who came on Friday for the weekend. Dan and his dad went golfing Friday to a country club in the area, and Dan took him to CCD on Saturday. With Dan taking his first swings of the season, he enjoyed spending the time with his Dad.
While the men were out golfing, Dan's mom and I enjoyed the time together with the boys. Shopping, playing, and napping filled our afternoons.
Saturday night, Dan and I were able to go to a Tigers game. What a fun and beautiful night. This was our second major league baseball game together, the first one being in Philly, while we lived in Delaware. I have to say, the new Comerica Park is beautiful. A lot better then what I remember of the old Park from when I was a kid. The turf was perfected and looking great. And even from our nosebleed section seats, the view was awesome. We even got to see fireworks after the game.(I was quite impressed)
So thank you for the visit Mom and Dad Koops. The boys love spending time with Grandpa and Grandma, and so do Dan and I. Love you!
